Reservations

What is the best way to make a reservation?

Booking via our website is always cheaper than via an online booking agent. You can book directly and see the current availability via book directly.

What are the options for an extra bed?
We do not have the option to add extra beds in our apartments. However, we do offer apartments for 3 or 4 guests.
Are children welcome?
  • Of course, children of all ages are welcome. Unfortunately, there is no possibility to place extra beds in the apartment.
  • Children are included in the maximum number of persons per apartment. It is not allowed to bring a child as an extra person that exceeds the maximum number of guests.
  • In some apartments, a baby bed can be placed upon request. A baby bed costs €15 one-time. The baby bed is a camping bed with a mattress and a mattress sheet.
  • A baby bed can only be placed in the following apartments and studios: 1, 11, 12, 21, 22, 23, 31 and 33
Until what age do children stay free of charge?
Only tourist tax will be charged for children up to 2 years old. A baby bed can be booked for €15 (one-off costs). Studios 6, 7, 8, 14 and 32 are for a maximum of 2 guests, there is no room for a baby bed.
Do you offer group rates?
We don’t offer group rates. It is possible to book multiple apartments at the same time.
How do I change or cancel a reservation?
If you are forced to cancel your reservation due to circumstances, please look at our cancellation policy.

If you have any questions, you can always email us and we can think along with you. (Unless you have a reservation via Booking.com, then you can arrange this via Booking.com)

I am sick. Can I cancel my holiday?
First of all: get well soon. In case you have travel insurance you can check if you can redeem any costs.
Can I cancel free of charge?
For our standard rate, you can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the arrival date. Non-refundable reservations are always subject to 100% cancellation fees. Click here for our cancellation policy.

Payments

Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept almost all major bank cards. Maestro, Vpay, VISA and Mastercard payments. For reservations via our website you can pay with PayPal, IDEAL, Bancontact, Mastercard, VISA or via bank transfer.
Can I pay cash?
You can pay cash. For our standard rate we always ask for a minimum prepayment of 50%, the remaining amount can be paid on arrival.
What is tourist tax and when is it charged?
Tourist tax is a municipal tax for accommodations in Zandvoort. The Zandvoort city council requires that every tourist pays 3.30 tourist tax per person per night for accommodation to improve the village and its facilities. The tourist tax rate is revised annually and we will communicate any changes to guests in a timely manner.

Arrival & Departure

Is there a 24/7 reception?
Our reception is open during check-in and check-out, from 8:00 – 18:00. Outside these hours we are available by phone.
What time is check-in/check-out?
  • Check-in is possible between 15:00 and 18:00.
    Late check-in is not a problem, there is a keysafe onsite.
  • Checkout is possible until 11:00 latest.
Can I arrive early?

You are always welcome to arrive early, we can store your luggage in case your apartment or studio is not ready yet.

Where can I park?
  • Parking is possible in our private parking lot directly behind the Boulevard apartments.
  • Unique in Zandvoort, where parking is very expensive and scarce, especially during high season.
  • 1 parking space is free of charge if you have reserved an apartment directly through us (if you booked via Booking.com, it costs €10 per night)
  • One parking space is available per apartment
  • We do not have a charging station for electric cars. Ask us for the nearest charging option.
    Parking is at your own risk
Can I leave earlier than planned?

Earlier departure is possible, always contact reception first on 023 5712613. Our cancellation policy applies.

Can I leave a review?
  • Of course we hope that you had a pleasant stay. But if you have areas for improvement, we would also like to hear them. We always read a review with great interest.
  • You can easily leave a review via Google or Tripadvisor.

During your stay

What about cleaning?
  • Final cleaning is included in the price.
  • For stays longer than 7 nights, in between cleaning is also included.
  • If you would like an extra cleaning, please let reception know so we can plan this.
    The costs of extra cleaning differ per apartment.
Are bed linen and towels included?
  • The beds are made upon arrival.
  • There are enough towels available for your stay.
  • It is not allowed to bring your own bed linen.
What can I expect in terms of kitchen utensils?

Each apartment or studio has a Nespresso machine, (frying) pans, whistling kettle, kitchen and dishcloth, cooking utensils, cutting board, eating and drinking utensils, induction hob, microwave and extractor fan. The apartments and studios in Boulevard 5 also have a dishwasher. The studios in West 7 do not have these.

Is there a hairdryer?

There is a hairdryer available in every apartment.

Is breakfast included in the price?
Breakfast is not included in the price. You can add a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast at least one day in advance. You can enjoy it in our seaview breakfast nook or we can bring it right on your doorstep in a picnic basket.
Can I buy something to drink and bring it tot the apartment?
We sell a variety of hot and cold drinks from 9:00 – 17:00, as well as some typical local souvenirs or beach accessories.
Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome, but there are a number of important rules when bringing your dog.

  • No other animals are allowed.
  • When you check-in with your dog, you automatically agree with our dog regulations.
  • Maximum 1 dog per apartment
  • Only small to medium-sized dogs are allowed (max. 20 kg, height at the withers 40 cm).
  • There is a surcharge of €15 per night for bringing a dog.
  • If you are bringing your dog, you must always let us know in advance.
Are pets allowed?

Only small to medium sized dogs are welcome. Please refer to your dog policy. No other pets are allowed

Can I smoke in the apartment?
  • We are 100% smoke-free. You can smoke outside or on your own balcony. Please always take other guests into account. The use of (Soft) drug use is not permitted anywhere.
  • If we discover that there is smoking in the room, we will be forced to charge a cleaning fee of €250 and you will have to leave the room.
  • If the fire alarm goes off due to smoking in the room, you will be charged the fire brigade call-out fee of €600.
  • Marijuana or hash is not permitted on the entire site of Boulevard 5, not even on the balcony of your apartment.
Is there a washing machine?

Our apartments do not have a washing machine. But you can use our laundry room during opening hours, just ask reception for the key.

Are there facilities for disabled people?
Unfortunately, we do not have facilities for disabled people. Because we are located on the dune, there is a height difference everywhere, and there are steps everywhere. Even the ground floor is only accessible by stairs.
Is there an elevator for higher floors?
There is no elevator, all our apartments are only accessible via stairs.
Do you offer bicycle rental?
Of course! Rent our cool ‘Boulevard’ bike for €10 per day and explore Zandvoort and the surrounding area by bike! Come to reception to reserve your bicycles.
I am bringing my own bicycle. Where can I store it?

We have a lockable garage with space to store bicycles.
Unfortunately, there is no electricity here to charge your electric bicycle.
You can charge the battery inside your apartment, provided you only charge it when you are present due to fire hazard.

Are there water sports or activities on the beach?
There are all kinds of (water) sports on the beach such as; surfing, paddle boarding, boxing lessons, yoga. Our receptionist can tell you more about this!
What is the best way to reach Haarlem and/or Amsterdam?
Haarlem and Amsterdam are best reached by bus or train. The (bus) station is within walking distance. Parking in these cities is relatively expensive.
How do I leave the apartment?

The final cleaning is included in the price.
We would like to ask the following from our guests at check-out:

  • Throw away food scraps, etc. Dispose of garbage bags and rubbish in the correct waste containers (residual waste, glass, paper and plastic).
  • Put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn on the dishwasher.
  • Turn off the thermostat.
  • Open 1 window per room (weather permitting ;-)).
